About Us

Deep South Media Ltd is a corporate communications company based in Bournemouth.

Our team of PR Account Directors, Editors and Designers serves clients across the south and west, and in 2008 we opened a London office. Founded by journalists in 1998, we offer a range of services, including public relations, design, printed and online journalism, marketing and training.

Deep South Media employs only experienced journalists with regional newspaper pedigrees and market-leading communication skills. Our mission is to ensure our clients' messages are explained in ways their chosen audiences find interesting and easily understandable.

We project and protect our clients' reputations and act always with honesty and integrity.

Stephen Codling - has 11 years of experience as a cameraman working in news, sport and current affairs for Broadcast TV. Before this, he spent 17 years as a sound engineer for Thames TV, TVS and Meridian, learning about all aspects of TV production.

Nigel Kay - is a former Head of Journalism at the BBC. He lectures in crisis communications at the Government's emergency planning college near York. He now works with clients to protect and enhance their reputations when that crisis occurs.

Richard Slee - is an experienced presenter and journalist, who has worked for BBC TV News, SKY News, ITN and BBC Radio. He is currently working as a Television Reporter for ITV Meridian, BBC TV News and BBC World TV.

Martin Tidd - worked for many years in the local and regional media, launching paid for and free newspapers. He now runs the advertising sales company Local Council Media.

Robin Worman’s - long BBC career included the World Service, local radio, Radio 4 and Radio 2. He produced and commentated on many network documentaries and outside broadcasts. His awards include a Silver Sony.
