TeamJobs’ Mitchell appointed Operations Manager

Michelle Mitchell has been appointed Operations Manager at Dorset-based TeamJobs

Michelle Mitchell continues to scale the career ladder at TeamJobs, taking on the newly-created role of Operations Manager at the former Dorset Company of the Year.

Michelle, 34, joined TeamJobs in 2010 as manager of its industrial division, and later headed up client development.

In March 2017, following the birth of her second child, she was appointed Strategic Sales and Development Manager, to mentor and provide strategic planning for the company’s 24 recruitment specialists. These will remain key areas of her new operations role, as she explained:

“I will be monitoring and analysing our business statistics, ensuring performance indicators are in place and making sure our targets are met, all while keeping motivation high and our mind-set positive,” said Michelle.

“Basically my role is living and breathing TeamJobs’ core values, and that’s what I excel at.”

TeamJobs encompasses Commercial & IT, Industrial, Hospitality, Engineering & Technical and Team Executive divisions and opened new, three-storey premises in Bournemouth in addition to its Poole HQ, in March 2017.

The firm was named Dorset Company of the Year in 2015 by Dorset Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI) and was singled out by the judges for its commitment to staff engagement and wellbeing.

Michelle continued: “One of the best parts of my job is working with all staff, from day one at their induction and throughout their career.

“I oversee regular training for everyone, at all levels and I’m a huge advocate of ‘desk coaching’: assisting consultants with sales activity, prioritising, client visits, mapping, and sales calls training.”

Michelle’s experience of working across all of TeamJobs’ divisions enables her to step in for divisional managers when needed.

“I’m also proud to support our Managing Director Jason Gault, on company projects,” she added.

“Operations Manager is the next part of my exciting journey with TeamJobs and I am looking forward to making my mark.”

MD Jason Gault said: “Michelle is a successful strategist and inspiring leader, and a great example of how TeamJobs works to nurture the talents and reward the successes of all our staff.

“She is a real asset to TeamJobs and will play an important role in the continuing expansion and success of the business.”
