Cherries partner is jewel in the crown

A family-run concept jewellery and watch business has renewed its partnership with AFC Bournemouth for the sixth consecutive season.

Michael Matthews Jewellery Ltd, which has a showroom in Westover Road, is continuing as a regional supporter of the Cherries.

The long-established company also sponsors AFC Bournemouth’s Player of the Month award.

So it was apt that flying winger Ryan Fraser, who claimed the award for both August and September, was on hand to present a commemorative shirt to the company’s Matt and Mike Corica before a recent match.

Matt Corica, Director, said: “We have been supporters of AFC Bournemouth for many years and so we are very proud to continue our association, especially with the club enjoying its greatest period of success.”

As part of the partnership, Michael Matthews will continue to have a presence at home games with match day hospitality and advertising around Vitality Stadium, as well as attending corporate events and golf days.
