Claire Adaway of Wild Recruitment

Wild Recruitment in Portsmouth has appointed Claire Adaway to Team Leader – just two years after she joined.

The mother-of-two recruits temporary workers for the commercial sector and says the local economy is doing well and she expects to grow the team.

The branch, situated in a prominent part of the town centre, has 25 staff and has expanded rapidly.

Claire said: “I worked as a recruitment co-ordinator before having my children and when they were old enough I decided to return to work and joined Wild, which I knew previously as a great agency.

“I recruit temporary workers to office-based roles, including customer service and sales positions.

“There is real scope to grow the team and the fact I’m looking for clients and candidates reflects well on the local economy.”

Wild Recruitment has branches in London, Milton Keynes and Poole in Dorset and is part of the national Berry Recruitment Group (BRG).

It was co-founded in 2001 by Michelle Stewart who now sits on the board of BRG, which has more than 30 branches across the country.

Michelle said: “With our growing number of staff we required a new level of leadership and Claire was an obvious choice.

“She has made a great impact sine she joined us and has won an award at the BRG annual awards ceremony.

“The commercial side of the business in Portsmouth is doing well at the moment and we are busy in the other areas including finance, industrial and technical, driving, built environment and senior selection.”
