Richard Ryan – who has brought the VeriSmart brand to South Wales and after a year is already recruiting staff.
An entrepreneur from Swansea is looking to expand his business just a year after launching.
Richard Ryan became a licensee for VeriSmart, using unique technology to create paper-free inventories for letting agents and landlords.
Now he is looking to take on a clerk as he develops the business with the aim of creating a whole team to cover South Wales.
Already, Richard operates across the Swansea, Cardiff and Port Talbot areas and now has his eye on Newport, too.
His astonishing growth has been helped by the increasing rental sector and the Rent Smart Wales legislation that matched VeriSmart’s own existing high standards.
The business involves using the copyrighted system including voice recognition technology to create inventories.
But Richard also provides additional services including Legionaries’ testing and correct C0 and smoke alarm testing.
The 32-year-old, who is player-coach for Welsh League One football side Goytre United, Port Talbot, said: “From a standing start a year ago I am now looking to expand and take on someone else.
“The VeriSmart system is the best out there and when agents try us out they never go back because it is so good and it saves them so much time.
“Inventories include detailed descriptions, photographs and all necessary details – and a comprehensive, quickly compiled document protects tenants and agents.
“I invested with VeriSmart because I wanted my own business and it’s been really worthwhile. I’ve had great training and support and in a year’s time I hope to have grown the business substantially.”
Notes to editors:
VeriSmart Inventories was re-branded in 2015 after developing its unique smart verification software that allows for the paper-free inventories to be compiled with speed and accuracy. The company was launched 25 years ago in the Bournemouth and Poole conurbation in Dorset, where it is still headquartered. The new technology allowed the business to adopt a franchise model. Some of its licensees make a substantial six figure income. It operates across England and now Wales.
