Berry Recruitment Group held its annual awards ceremony in London and guests heard how 2017 had got off to a flying start.
Chairman Tony Berry and managing director Chris Chown both made speeches at the event held at the Bond in Motion exhibition at the London Film Museum in Covent Garden.
BRG now has 34 branches and recently opened an office in Darlington and launched Wild Berry Associates in London’s West End.
The new brand in the capital brings together three agencies acquired over the last two years and specialises in the commercial sector.
Chris Chown said: “Now we have opened an office in Darlington it means we have a presence in all corners of the country.
“Our new brand in London, Wild Berry Associates, is powering ahead and reflects the optimism that we have noticed across the business.
“As a group BRG has seen a fantastic start to 2017 with a 41 per cent increase in gross profit in January compared with the same month last year. And the February and March figures have followed that trend.
“There remains an extremely positive outlook and I sense confidence is growing.”
BRG is on track to record a turnover well in excess of £60m for last year.
It has several brands including Berry Recruitment, Wild Recruitment, Wild Berry Associates, and Express Rail Services.
