More than 40% of students achieved A*- B grades with all students able to attend the university course or employment route of their choice.
Notable results include Victoria Primmer who achieved a Distinction * in Creative Digital Media which, with her As in history and maths, allows her to study Computer Games Technology at Portsmouth University.
Brother and sister Kaylyn and Jonathon Snellgrove both achieved highly. Kaylyn received an A* in maths, an A in physics and chemistry, while Jonathon scored an A in maths and computer science and a B in further maths.
Arnewood’s Head Girl Oliva Hilton-Foster gained an A in photography, and B in Drama and Media Studies. She will now go on to study at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama and follow her passion for the arts.
Meanwhile Head Boy Tom Hopkins has his eye on a career in Civil and Environmental Engineering and will begin his undergraduate studies at Leeds University.
Other notable results include Massimiliano Bocchio who scored five high grade A-levels, achieving an A* in Italian, two As in German and History and two Bs in Government and Politics and English Language.
Matilde Pedergnana also achieved five A-levels with an A* in maths, an A in further maths and Bs in Physics, Italia and Psychology.
Lucy Witt gained an A in English Language and Bs in Business Studies and Psychology and Michael Seal achieved a Double Distinction in IT.
Headteacher Nigel Pressnell said, “I am delighted that the students’ hard work, together with the dedication of their teachers has allowed them to progress from The Arnewood School Sixth Form to follow their dreams and ambitions. We look forward to hearing of their future success in years to come.”
