A Hampshire manufacturing firm has hailed a ‘brilliant atmosphere’ at the first Farnborough International Airshow in four years.
Fareham-based Barnbrook Systems Ltd has welcomed VIPs and visitors from around the world to its stand on the opening days of the iconic event.
The advanced engineering firm is among the exhibitors in the Great Britain marquee in the main hall for the length of the show from Monday July 18 to Friday July 22.
Outgoing MP Boris Johnson was among the VIPs to visit the GB section on the first day.
Vic Gunasekaran, Barnbrook Systems engineering manager, said: “There’s been a brilliant atmosphere and everyone has been excited to be back.
“We’ve welcomed visitors from around the world to our stand to enquire about our products for aerospace, including our new ranges which we have launched at the show.
“The airshow is highlight of our calendar and so important to give us exposure to large companies as well as smaller firms within the supply chain.
“We consider Farnborough to be our home show and are looking forward to the rest of what is already a very successful event.”
Barnbrook Systems is attending its 13th consecutive airshow where its stand is next to the Farnborough Aerospace Consortium (FAC) hub.
Among the guests were New Forest East MP Julian Lewis, who is chairman of the Intelligence and Security Committee (ISC) at Westminster. Ministerial visits are also lined up during the course of the show.

It also showcased other industry-leading products and services among its 100 plus product range, including its smart fuel pressure switch, which is already being deployed on helicopters worldwide.
