Berry Recruitment has opened a new branch in Watford, Hertfordshire, meaning the company now covers a huge area north of London.
The buoyancy of the region, evolving job market and success of its other branches between Oxford and Harlow led the business to its latest expansion.
Three experienced consultants have been recruited to the business with more hires planned for the New Year.
The branch will cover commercial office-based roles, light industrial and catering roles both for temporary and permanent positions.
Its manager is Carol Grainger who has worked in the industry and in the area for more than 17 years.
She said: “What attracted me to Berry Recruitment was its agility and speed with which decisions are made and things get done.
“Berry is a family business and it has that feel about it which means there is a great environment to work in and everyone matters.
“The head office in St Albans has also blown me away with the support it offers – the credit control and admin teams particularly have been unbelievable.
“Another thing that Berry has is its new app that saves us a huge amount of time and makes everything so much easier for candidates to register.
“The app itself is so user friendly and we are getting a great deal out of it – it is a fantastic development.
“Our aim is to grow the branch, aware that we are a part of a cluster of Berry branches that work together to ensure we provide the best service possible.
“There is a lot of competition locally but we are confident in our abilities and we have a great deal of experience to offer.”
Alongside Carol at the branch is Karen Grillo who has 35 years’ experience and Nitish Soni who has 6 years’ experience.
Lee Gamble, managing director of Berry Recruitment, said: “Launching a branch in Watford means we can cover a much larger area.
“The team will go as south as Heathrow, which links up with our Sutton branch south-east of the airport.
“The area is a busy one with many businesses and the consultants we have brought on board have already got off to a tremendous start.
“As the job market continues to rapidly evolve, it is increasingly important that companies are agile and recognise where their services are needed.”
Berry Recruitment is part of Berry Recruitment Group that works from nearly 40 branches across England and Wales
