Due to its expanding business the cyber security company C3IA Solutions has appointed a new Technical Services Co-ordinator.
Clare Davison has joined the Poole-headquartered firm and will help with the delivery of some of its services to private and public sector clients.
These include Cyber Essentials, the government-backed scheme that helps protect businesses, and penetration-testing that checks how robust an organisation’s IT systems’ defences are.
Clare, originally from Glasgow, previously worked as a test manager for IBM and spent time with EDS, now owned by HP.
She said: “I had been out of the workforce for some time after having my daughter and then caring for my husband who died earlier this year.
“But it was time to get back to work and having always been employed in the IT sector I wanted something stimulating and interesting.
“C3IA Solutions were offering such a role and my background fitted really well.
“The company has a fine reputation and continues to grow so I know I’m not the only new starter in recent weeks.
“The cyber security sector is incredibly varied and is expanding rapidly and there are many interesting roles available.
“I chose to study Computer Information Systems at university, and I am very much enjoying the work at C3IA Solutions helping keep businesses safe.”
Jim Hawkins, Delivery and Security Director at C3IA Solutions, said: “The new technical co-ordinator role was created due to our continued growth.
“Our clients are increasing in number and we are expanding our services to support them.
“Clare comes with a great deal of experience and can hit the ground running, which is just what we were looking for.”
