Cyber-security site launch

Matt Horan, security director of C3IA Solutions

One of the country’s leading cyber security companies has launched a new website geared for its commercial clients.

C3IA Solutions works extensively with the government and its agencies but its private sector work has grown so much that it decided to create a dedicate online presence.

It gives details of its technical support services such as Cyber Essentials, Security Management Partnerships, Security Testing and bug sweeping.

Based in Poole, the company was founded by former Royal Signallers Matt Horan and Keith Parsons more than a decade ago.

It was one of the first six companies to be certified by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC).

Its operatives travel the globe working for foreign governments, high net worth individuals and multi-national businesses.

The commercial side of the business has grown rapidly in recent years and work has increased during the pandemic.

Matt said: “The new website details the services we provide and is useful for both private sector and public sector clients.

“But with our commercial side having grown so quickly and the importance of cyber security and information assurance becoming so much more relevant, we wanted a place that sets out what is available.

“More and more businesses are realising the importance of security, especially because many more people are working from home.

“This brings with it added risks, threats and vulnerabilities which company bosses know require guarding against.

“The average cost of a cyber breach is nearly £2,000 – a sum many can’t afford right now.

“The worst case scenario could finish a business so it is no surprise that cyber security is soaring up the list of priorities for businesses.

“Our new website – c3ia.services – sets out in simple terms what is available and how it could benefit a business.

“We’re always available to advise on what a company needs.”
