Nineteen staff from the Exeter, Plymouth, Poole, Torquay and Truro offices of chartered accountants PKF Francis Clark celebrated their exam successes at a special reception.
The ‘Class of 2016’ achieved a 100 per cent pass rate in their taxation and accountancy exams.
Managing Partner Andrew Richards described the results as “outstanding”, adding: “They have all worked so hard for these qualifications and I, and the rest of the firm, could not be prouder.”
To mark the exam successes a special reception was held at Buckfast Abbey Conference Centre in Buckfastleigh, Devon.
Twelve of the staff had passed their Association of Chartered Accountants (ACA) exams; five had completed their Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualifications with the remaining two qualifying as Corporate Tax Advisers (CTA).
Andrew said the 19 newly and recently qualified staff represented the firm’s future.
He added: “The 100 per cent pass rate they achieved is not only a tribute to their hard work and dedication but is also the clearest possible sign that we are fulfilling our ambition to attract the brightest and best talent.”
Other guests at the event included Liz Cheaney, Director of HR; Chris Hicks, Partner from the firm’s Torquay office and Luci Coleman, a Director of the firm’s business recovery team.
PKF Francis Clark has eight offices across Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Hampshire, Somerset and Wiltshire.
