Innovative technology was on the agenda when Chichester MP Gillian Keegan visited multi-disciplinary firm Three Sixty Design Solutions.

She toured the business’ Hills Barn offices in Chichester to learn about its professional services, meet staff and hear about future growth plans.

Directors Harvey Ford, Simon Amery and Stephen Rodway gave an insight into the firm’s architectural, surveying and electrical, mechanical and structural engineering expertise.

This included a showcase of its BiM 360 technology and digital scanners which create pinpoint accurate, ‘digital twin’ models of buildings along with accompanying on-screen 3D images featuring all fittings and components.

They also discussed apprenticeships and training with Mrs Keegan, who is also Secretary of State for Education, as well as the firm’s work for government departments.

Director Harvey Ford said: “It was a privilege to welcome Gillian to our offices.

“We were pleased to talk about our recruitment and business growth locally as well as our future expansion plans and technological development.

“Gillian clearly is very knowledgeable about business and we are immensely grateful to her for showing such a keen interest in what we do and taking the time to visit.”

Mrs Keegan, left school at 16 with 10 O-levels for an apprenticeship at Delco Electronics, a subsidiary of General Motors, in Kirkby.

She worked for companies in multiple sectors including manufacturing, banking, IT and travel before being elected as the MP for Chichester in 2017.

She said: “It was a pleasure to visit a dynamic and fast growing company on our doorstep in Chichester.

“As someone with a long career in business prior to entering Parliament, I always welcome the opportunity to get back into workplaces and find out about the contribution they are making to the economy, both locally in Chichester and nationally.”
