Barnbrook and Electrogear open up new possibilities

Two Fareham firms have joined forces in a strategic partnership to combine their expertise in innovative engineering and electrical solutions.

Barnbrook Systems Ltd and Electrogear (Fareham) Ltd have agreed to collaborate on commercial projects based on their existing products, legacy systems and new opportunities.

Global engineering solutions specialist Barnbrook creates and supplies cutting-edge systems – including its BlueCube© remote sensing and tracking technology – for such sectors as aerospace, defence, rail and renewable energy.

Electrogear is an electrical/electronics manufacturer with many years of experience in all fields of electro mechanical, electrical, electronic, radio frequency, prototype, manufacturing, installation and commissioning for multiple sectors.

They will work together to see how they can combine their existing products and services to deliver new solutions.

They will also explore opportunities in the defence, energy and hydrogen sectors where they can bring extra value and new products and services for customers.

The collaboration comes hot on the heels of Fareham Park Road based Barnbrook announcing a strategic partnership with Southampton-based UCR Group.

It is also working with fellow Fareham firms Flair and  TJ Waste & Recycling on the trial of an E:BAG system to combat the danger of exploding lithium-ion batteries.

Barnbrook’s award-winning Intelligent Internet of Things (IIoT) technology BlueCube© tracks such parameters as pressure, temperature and movement in real time with reading sent live to phone, laptop, desktop, tablet or phone for monitoring and intervention.

The nine-strong team at Electrogear, based in Standard Way, Fareham, have extensive knowledge and experience in all fields of mechanical/RF/electrical/electronic engineering solutions.

They include technical director Richard Snow, business development director Darrin Laishley, shopfloor  supervisor Simon Daniels and head of operations James Clark.
