A leading Bournemouth hotelier revealed some of the secrets of her success when she gave a talk to fellow family businesses.
Rosie Wallace, Managing Director of the Marsham Court Hotel, was joined by her brother, James Dixon-Box, for the presentation at the hotel’s East Cliff site.
Rosie explained that the Edwardian Marsham Court is one of Bournemouth’s last remaining family owned and operated hotels.
It was bought from De Vere by her mother, Jennie Deavin, in 1987 and has since undergone an ambitious £1.5million refurbishment transforming the bedrooms, lobby, bar and conferencing facilities.
The Marsham Court is currently Bournemouth’s Large Hotel of the Year and recently won Dorset Chamber of Commerce & Industry’s Business Engagement with Education Award.
