A leading Dorset law firm has hit the right note with arts charity Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra (BSO).
Ellis Jones Solicitors has agreed a three year partnership with the internationally famed orchestra.
The firm, which has offices in Dorset and the New Forest, will offer pro bono legal advice to BSO members and staff, mainly around Wills, Trusts and Probate.
In return, Ellis Jones’ branding will appear in programmes and other BSO publicity material.
Nigel Smith, Managing Partner, said: “By common consent, the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra is one of the top orchestras in the world with a fantastic international reputation.
“We regard this partnership as the perfect fit between two long-established players, rooted in the local community and providing a service which is ‘music to the ears’ of our respective audiences.
“Ellis Jones is very honoured to be asked to partner with such a prestigious orchestra and we look forward to forging even closer links in the months and years ahead.”
Dougie Scarfe, BSO Chief Executive, added: “I am delighted that Ellis Jones has chosen to support the BSO.
“It is a pleasure to partner with such a well-respected firm that shares our heritage and values. The expertise of their partners, and in particular the free Will writing service, will be hugely valuable to the charity going forwards.”
Founded in 1893, the BSO is the only UK symphony orchestra not based in a major city.
A core part of the orchestra’s mission is its work beyond the concert hall. Reaching communities throughout the South and South West, the BSO organises activities ranging from inspirational workshops in schools to special performances in care homes.
Ellis Jones is one of the largest law firms in Dorset and West Hampshire with more than 140 staff including 12 partners.
It has offices in Bournemouth, Canford Cliffs (Poole), Ringwood, Swanage and London offering a wide range of services to individuals
