Expanding Portsmouth estate and lettings agency Chinneck Shaw is building on its business success with a new property manager.
The firm has strengthened its team with the appointment of 25-year-old Jamie McCutcheon to work out of its offices in Milton Road and Tangier Road.
Former Springfield School student Jamie’s responsibilities at the independent family firm include viewings, lettings and administration.
Jamie, who lives in the Farlington area, said: “I am enjoying the job very much.
“I have a real mix of responsibilities and it is great to meet likeminded people with a common interest in property.
“All the staff and clients at Chinneck Shaw have been very welcoming and I’m looking to pursuing a successful career in property with the firm.”
Jamie is based at 10-strong Chinneck Shaw’s Milton Road office but will move around the business to gain experience.
Lettings success
Chinneck Shaw director Neil Shaw said: “Jamie has made a great first impression and has fitted into the team very well.
“Enthusiastic and talented employees such as Jamie will play a key role at Chinneck Shaw as we continue to grow.
“I’m sure Jamie will be a great asset to us and forge a successful career in property in the years ahead.”
Jamie had previously teed up a promising career as a professional golfer but injury put paid to his hopes.
He then worked as a specialist in producing custom-built golf clubs before gaining an apprenticeship at an estate agency and then working at a car dealership.
