Expanding property consultancy Myddelton & Major has won a prestigious award for the ninth year in a row.
The Salisbury-based firm covering the central southern region has once again won the title of Most Active Agency in Wiltshire.
Myddelton & Major Partner Dean Speer was named the individual dealmaker who completed the most transactions.
Estates Gazette, the weekly and online magazine of the UK commercial property industry, makes the annual award.
In an extremely difficult year, the firm still managed to complete in excess of 140 sales and letting transaction on commercial floor space.
The 2020 EGi success was based on the number of retail, office and industrial deals completed across the county during the past year.
It includes transactions done before and during the ongoing Covid 19 national emergency.

Notable deals this year have included the speculatively developed scheme of new business units at the Swan Centre in Warminster by Nationwide Engineering was all sold or let off plan, several lettings at substantial Warner House, Salisbury, the letting of Fusion House in Downton and the sale of 141 Castle Street, Salisbury for redevelopment as 60 apartments.
There were also many successful deals in the Myddelton & Major heartland, including the Bluestone Centre at Solstice Park at Amesbury; Salisbury’s Churchfields Industrial Estate and Harnham Trading Estate; Sarum Point, Old Sarum; Chaldicott Barns at Semley; West Wilts Trading Estate and Wyndham Business Centre at Tisbury.
The award is for the most transactions in Wiltshire, around Salisbury/Amesbury, but Myddelton & Major also acted on commercial properties in Dorset, West Hampshire and across Somerset, particularly at Commerce Park, Frome.
