Parkfield pupils and staff are preparing to show off their new school at Hurn with an Open Evening.
The event is open to all and will take place on Thursday September 28, between 4pm and 8pm.
Around 420 pupils, staff and support staff, have moved into the eight-acre educational facility, next to Bournemouth Airport.
The former air traffic control training building has undergone massive redevelopment and now includes state of the art science labs, a dance studio and sports hall.
Interim head teacher Ian Golding, said: “The staff worked incredibly hard to complete the move into the new premises in time for the start of the autumn term and both they and the pupils seem energised by their new and impressive surroundings.”
He continued: “Our move to the new site was hampered by many hold-ups, which were unfortunately out of our control, but I am immensely proud of the resilience everyone has shown throughout this.
“We are now very excited at the prospect of showing people around our new school and look forward to welcoming new pupils and their parents to Parkfield.”
Parkfield School is an all-through (age 4 to 16) co-educational school.
As a Free school it is funded directly from central Government. This means that it is independent from Local Authority control and parents do not have to pay for their children to be educated at the school.
Tours of the new school can also be booked on alternative dates by phoning: 07825 988666.
