Partners and staff at PKF Francis Clark are celebrating being shortlisted for the British Accountancy Awards 2016 in the category of National Firm of the Year.
The multi-award winning firm will now have to wait until a gala dinner at the Brewery in the City of London on November 29 to find out whether it will be adding to its already impressive array of national awards.
Andrew Richards, Managing Partner at PKF Francis Clark said: “We are naturally delighted and honoured to make this prestigious shortlist particularly as it is judged by some of the most eminent practitioners in our profession.
“It has been an exhilarating year for the firm with highlights including a merger with Princecroft Willis and becoming a member of PKF International both of which have greatly enhanced our resources and our intellectual capital.
“Our submission for this award reflected these progressive moves but also had to demonstrate how the services we provide have been fundamental in enabling our clients to achieve their business goals. Nevertheless, we are really encouraged that a regional firm like ours can achieve national recognition of this sort.
“I believe we were able to show a genuine all-round and in-depth ability to advise clients on a local, regional and national scale and to offer a personal, partner-led service to businesses of all sizes.
“Making this shortlist is a recognition of this and a tribute to the calibre and commitment of all our staff.”
PKF Francis Clark is a UK top 25 accountancy firm with annual revenue of £38 million, a team of more than 580 people and 59 partners.
Founded in 1919, the award-winning independent firm has eight offices across Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Hampshire, Somerset and Wiltshire.
