A special ‘revival of beliefs’ day has helped a Hampshire-based cleaning company to strengthen colleague relations.
Cleaning Operations UK founder and managing director Luzia Holloway held the annual event at the Concorde Club, Eastleigh, to enable her 100-strong workforce to gain insight into company affairs and future changes.
She said: “The Cleaning Operations UK team completely enjoyed the day. I staged the event because I wanted to demonstrate that we really do value every single member of staff.
“When we get together we like to recognise the hard work everyone has put in on behalf of the company over the previous year.”
During the meeting announcements of promotions within the company were made, along with a special presentation for team members who deserved the accolade of being named “heroes.”
Luzia said: “These heroes are the people who have gone beyond the call of duty to help our clients at very short notice – this year there were 16 of them. They did a fantastic job and they deserve the praise.”
The ‘revival of beliefs’ is designed to create transparency at Cleaning Operations UK, offering employees the chance to keep up-to-date on matters within the company. It also helps with team building.
There was a relaxed, family feel to the occasion with partners and children all invited to the gathering, including lunch, which is one of the company’s main social events of the year.
Earlier this year Cleaning Operations UK appointed Louise Coe as their new marketing officer, allowing the company to reach out to new customers through a variety of ways including an emphasis on social media.
Cleaning Operations UK is based in Fareham, Hampshire and provides a rapid-response service offering industrial and commercial cleaning and maintenance to a host of businesses in the region.
Luzia founded the company 15 years ago and has built up a list of prestigious clients, taking the business across the nation and abroad to high-status events including the Geneva and Paris motor shows.
