A leading independent firm of chartered surveyors is getting on the road with newly-branded cars.
Portsmouth-based Chandler Hawkins now has its logo emblazoned on the firm’s two vehicles
Partner Neil Hawkins said: “The name of Chandler Hawkins is well known for surveying and valuing – now the cars will be recognisable too.
“We thought it was time to fly the flag a bit more – especially as we are out on the road an awful lot.”
Neil and Peter Chandler established the Landport Terrace-headquartered firm in 1993 and provide a local and personal service to home owners, buyers and leaseholders covering all aspects of valuation and survey work.
Peter added: “We are exceptionally busy at the moment and having branded cars will help us get our message across to clients and potential clients.”
Neil, also the honorary secretary of Portsmouth Property Association (PPA), said the property market was active and buoyant, but there remained a shortage of properties.
“We were expecting April to be generally quieter after the stamp duty changes, but that has had no real effect other than very slightly on the buy-to-let market.”
Partners Neil and Peter have 75 years’ experience between them in surveying and valuing land and property in South Hampshire and are able to draw on a wealth of knowledge and expertise.
Clients include the major lenders, insurance companies, housing associations, solicitors, accountants and local businesses.
As well as his role with the PPA, an organisation that promotes good practice in the industry, Neil is also a Portsmouth FC season ticket holder.
And Peter is a leading expert in social housing valuations as well as having a wealth of experience in survey and valuation work. He is former president of Southsea Castle Rotary Club.
Neil and Peter, who are both RICS registered valuers are supported by an experienced team of staff.
The firm deals with building surveys and RICS Homebuyer Reports; dilapidation and condition schedules; residential and commercial property valuations; party walls; leasehold enfranchisement valuations; expert witness reports; rent reviews and lease renewals and social housing.
