SAS hero pens book and hopes to complete the last Antarctic challenge

A former SAS sergeant who was the youngest member of the elite regiment when he passed selection has penned a novel that borrows from his extreme experiences. Chris Foot, 42, hopes the thriller will help him raise enough money to take on the last unachieved polar record – walking, unaided and unassisted, 1,600 miles across Antarctica.
