Acid jazz and funk pioneers The Brand New Heavies are to play in Bournemouth – after a fan asked them to perform in memory of his mum. Steve Heald, from Ferndown, who is being assisted by AE Jolliffe & Son of Douch Family Funeral Directors, will donate all profits of the concert to UK Dementia Research Institute.
Life-saving charity receives boost from Funeral group
A Dorset funeral group has raised just shy of £7,000 for the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance (DSAA). Douch Family Funeral Directors presented a cheque to the charity that needs to raise £5m a year.
