
NEW STARTERS: From left, Chris Davies, Charlotte Sabano and Abin John have joined property consultancy Vail Williams on the South Coast.
Property consultancy Vail Williams has appointed three new staff in the firm’s South Coast region.
Chartered building surveyor Chris Davies rejoins Vail Williams as a Partner, where he worked between 2019 and 2023. He was previously with construction consultancy Mace.
In his new role, Chris is regional lead, responsible for building and project consultancy across the three South Coast offices in Bournemouth, Southampton and Portsmouth.
Specialisms include industrial & logistics, education and residential development and project monitoring.
Southampton-based Abin John is a Planning Technician, covering planning and development, with a specialism in residential planning and master planning.
He was with the Banks Group, a developer headquartered in County Durham.
Charlotte Sabano is LPA Support, assisting clients with managing properties under receivership and financial recovery.
Previously a housing officer with housing association A2 Dominion, Charlotte is also based at Vail Williams’ Southampton office at Savannah House in Ocean Village.

Vail Williams reported its best ever year in 2022-23, with increased revenues of £18.3 million, up 5% over the previous financial year.
The firm employs 175 people – of which more than 50 are partners, including 17 LLP members – and is based across its 12 offices in the Midlands and south of England in Oxford, Birmingham, Crawley, Brighton, Woking, Heathrow, Leeds, London, Portsmouth, Reading, Southampton and Bournemouth.
Vail Williams was again awarded the prestigious Investors in People Gold accreditation, presented to just 17% of UK’s businesses, and indicating employee satisfaction as well as validating the firm as ‘a great place to work’.
Also retained was the We Invest in People standard.
Full-service property advice includes commercial agency, investment and development advice, building consultancy, property valuation, planning, lease advisory, property asset management, business rates and occupier consultancy.
