TUI UK’s first programme launch after last year’s re-brand reveals ambitious growth plans with three new routes for summer 2019 from Bournemouth Airport.

The enduring popularity of Greece and the resurgence of Turkey are reflected in the new programme.

Flights and holidays to Kefalonia, Heraklion and Antalya have all been added to the programme from Bournemouth Airport for next summer.

Antalya, Turkey, is the gateway to Turkey’s southern Mediterranean region.

TUI Sensimar resorts, the exclusive contemporary adults only range, are all about relaxation and quality.

Now grown-ups wanting a child-free get-away have new Sensimar Resorts to choose from in summer 2019.

There will be one opening in Crete coinciding with the new route launching next summer.

Two other resorts will open in Greece located in Zakynthos and Santorini as well as one in Agadir, Morocco and one in Dalaman, Turkey.

TUI UK’s Commercial Director Richard Sofer said: “Summer 2019 is the most ambitious programme we have ever introduced.

“We are focusing firmly on expanding access to our amazing range of holidays through an extended regional flying programming concentrated on the core destinations holidaymakers want to travel to, while offering the flexibility of holiday duration they want.

“We’ve increased our capacity in Bournemouth Airport, adding almost 25,000 additional seats and three unique new routes for summer 2019.

“We are giving customers even more opportunity when booking their summer holidays and have even more flagship resorts opening across TUI and First Choice affirming our commitment to our exclusive hotel concepts.”

Paul Knight, Managing Director at Bournemouth Airport, said: “This is exciting news for customers who like the convenience of being able to travel directly to Greece and Turkey from our friendly, local airport.

“Kefalonia, an idyllic Ionian Sea island, and Heraklion on Crete, the largest island in Greece, will complement TUI UK’s summer flights to Rhodes from the airport.

“It is also wonderful to have the beach resort city of Antalya, the gateway to Turkey’s southern Mediterranean region, available for holidaymakers and an addition to TUI UK’s summer flights to Dalaman in the south-west of the country.”

Thousands of free kids’ places will be available across all TUI and First Choice holidays and deposits will be just £50pp short and mid haul and £125pp long haul. Summer 2019 holidays will be on sale from Thursday, 5th April.
