“It is an opportunity for local employers and employees to see how we can help with cost-effective and flexible upskilling and training up to degree level.

“There will also be information about adult courses and our leisure and part-time subjects as well as the opportunity to see our modern facilities, including our new Higher Education Centre and centres of excellence.”

Martin added: “All are welcome to attend to find out more about the courses available on their doorstep or just to come and find out more about what the college is all about.”

Weymouth College runs more than 250 courses for 4,000 students, including access to higher education courses, university level degrees and Higher National Diplomas in partnership with the University of Plymouth and Pearson.

Its higher education courses combine practical, transferable and academic skills, allowing students the opportunity to work as well as study when upskilling for their job, for personal development or a career change.

Weymouth College has a ‘good’ Ofsted rating and recorded a very good overall satisfaction rate in the 2021 National Student Survey.
