Remember, remember the fifth of November

Bournemouth Fireworks is rocketing back after a two-year lay-off and is expected to go with a bang.

Three huge displays will light the sky on Saturday 5 November at the Littledown Centre.

Organisers say it will be bigger and better than ever and are expecting thousands to attend.

As it is the 25th anniversary of the hugely popular display and because it will actually be held on the fifth there will be extra events and attractions on the site.

Organiser Mick Callaghan said: “We were unable to put on the display for the last two years so we decided to make this the best ever.

“There are three displays, at 7pm, 8pm, and 9pm, and it has been a long time in the planning.

“There will be great food and drink as usual but this year there are extra things going on, details of which we will release nearer the time.

“I know from speaking to people that they have missed the display and we expect a huge turnout and we’d advise that people buy tickets soon.

“There is an early bird offer as well as a VIP area for adults and a family VIP area.”
