Fire Radio presenters Maxine Knight and Jason Webster saw double when they visited Yellow Buses in Bournemouth.
The popular duo, known to thousands for hosting breakfast show ‘Fire Breakfast with Max and Jason’, came face-to-face with their larger than life images.
Yellow Buses has taken the unusual step of ‘wrapping’ one of its iconic yellow double deckers in Fire Radio’s orange together with pictures of Max and Jason.
The initiative is part of a new partnership between the radio station and Yellow Buses.
Max said: “It’s brilliant to see myself on Fire’s very own Yellow Bus although I’m getting lots of jokes about looking like the back of a bus. That’s because I am!”
Jason added: “Yellow Buses operate right across Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch so it’s a great way of telling people about Fire Radio. Feel free to tweet us @fireradio when you’re travelling on our bus.”
David Squire, Yellow Buses’ Managing Director, said: “Fire Radio’s winning mix of the most hit music is particularly popular among students and young people, a key demographic for us.
“We look forward to forging even closer ties with Fire Radio over the coming year as our partnership develops.”
Fire Radio plays the most hit music for Bournemouth and Poole.
