A regional law firm has made seven promotions as it shapes the next generation of its senior team.
Ellis Jones Solicitors – with more than 170 staff including 21 partners – has announced the new positions for rising stars across a range of departments and offices.
It has appointed four new associates:
- Ian Daly – criminal team
- Asya Panchalieva – family
- Louise Sutton – wills, trusts and probate
- Diane Vincent – wills, trusts and probate
Three promotions to senior associate have been made:
- Jacqueline Batchelor – residential conveyancing
- Nicola Hall – wills, trusts and probate
- Katy Sewell – wills, trusts and probate

More than a third of Ellis Jones’ 21 partners started at the firm as trainees, including Mr Smith.
Six of the seven newly promoted staff are female – reflecting the firm’s strong support for women in the workplace. More than three quarters of its staff overall are female.
The firm recently won two honours at the Southern Enterprise Awards 2022 – for Most Progressive Law Firm and Diversity & Inclusion Excellence.
Ellis Jones has offices in Bournemouth, Poole (Canford Cliffs), Ringwood, Swanage and Wimborne as well as London.
