Talented event rider Line Andresen is saddling up for success after winning sponsorship from a leading firm of accountants.
The 23-year-old Swede, who has been riding horses since the age of five, is being sponsored by PKF Francis Clark during 2016.
The sponsorship will help cover the entry fee and other costs of competing in events across the South and South West of England.
Line said the backing of the chartered accountants and business advisers was “absolutely great.”
She added: “It’s a huge weight off my mind to have the entry fees covered by PKF Francis Clark. I’m very grateful to them.”
Line spent a year with three-time Olympic eventing medallist William Fox-Pitt before being appointed assistant stable manager with top Australian event rider and Badminton 2014 winner Sam Griffiths at his Dorset stables, Symphony Farm near Gillingham. Sam also won a team bronze for eventing at the Rio Olympics.
Paul Giessler, a Partner with PKF Francis Clark, based at the firm’s Salisbury office, said: “Line is a rising star in event riding and we’re very pleased to be supporting her.”
PKF Francis Clark is no stranger to equestrianism. Dawn Peattie, Manager at the Salisbury office, graduated from Hartpury College with a 1st Class BSc (Hons) in Equine Sports Science and has a keen interest in dressage. Her knowledge and experience helps the firm to support clients in the equine industry.
